AFV provides logistical support to the anti-fire brigades in the Amazon

Forest fires have surged in recent years in the Amazon region plagued by deforestation.

AFV is helping to strengthen the capacities of the anti-fire brigades of the Xingu Indigenous Territory (TIX) as to enable them to better fight uncontrolled fires in the region.

At the end of August 2021, AFV provided a generator to the Brazilian Institute of Environment and Renewable Natural Resources (IBAMA) for its "Prev Fogo" fire prevention program that assists anti-fire brigades in the TIX.
