Kamayura Village. Each family interested in the project received 65 fruit plant seedlings.

The ecological restoration program seeks to diversify the production of vegetables for self-subsistence and reforest  degraded lands with valuable trees such as Piqui. This program also fosters education in sustainable agriculture practices and wishes to create commercial opportunities by partnering with existing local organizations.

The ecological restoration program began in 2019 as a pilot project. The reforestation of 3 hectares has been so far achieved in the Yawalapiti and Kamaiura villages. The indigenous communities are front and center of this initiative, which will lead to the training and employment of dozens of young people during the course of the program.
